Cozy and comfortable cabin located in beautiful Andean countryside, with beautiful views of the volcanoes and San Pablo Lake. Just 15 minutes from Otavalo. Ushaloma is the perfect place to get away from everything and just relax and reconnect with nature. You can cook your own food. During day time you can go hiking and enjoy stunning views. During the night a wood stove will keep you warm. Beautiful meadows, sunrises and sunsets surround the bungalow. We are located in a rural area, 15 minutes from downtown Otavalo and in the way to Mojanda Lagoon. It is a quiet place, with little birds, cows and horses that visit us from time to time. You have access to a terrace from where you can see Lake San Pablo and the volcano "Taita Imbabura". You can also take a 20 minutes walk to a really nice waterfall. The bungalow has one bedroom with a double bed on the ground floor and an open attic with 2 single beds. It has a large open living-dining room with big windows that allow you to see the surroundings. It has a bathroom. It has a fireplace that can be lit every night if you wish. It has a small kitchen and basic implements to prepare your own food. Extensive gardens and prairies for trekking and beautiful views from all angles of the place and surroundings. We do not live in the cottage, but there is always someone on the property, besides we are always available by phone to answer any query and help with touristic information or what ever the guest needs. We will contact the guest to send the map and all the directions to get to our cabin. There are a couple of neighbors in the vicinity but nature and land with animals is what predominates. Inside our lot there is always someone living in another cabin. There are no shops or supermarkets nearby so we always recommend bringing groceries from downtown so you can cook your own food. Important: The bungalow is located in a rural area and to reach there you have to go through an unpaved and sloping section. It is a friendly route. It is recommended to arrive with daylight. We are pet friendly! Your pets are always welcome, we charge a fee of $15 per pet per night.
