Description
The Burg Hotel Ziesar is located in the historic town of Ziesar, home to the former bishop’s residence, Ziesar Castle. Situated on the northwestern edge of the Fläming region, near the border with Saxony-Anhalt, the town holds special historical significance. Albrecht the Bear—the first Margrave of Brandenburg—is considered the founder of the Margraviate of Brandenburg and recaptured Ziesar from the Slavs in 1157. Ziesar Castle and its museum are open daily during the season, except on Mondays. In this once-important town, you can stay to your heart’s content and enjoy a comfortable stay at the Burg Hotel with its cozy rooms. With fresh, regional cuisine and friendly service, the team welcomes you to the restaurant, featuring the “Burghof,” “Rittersaal,” and “Kaminzimmer.” When the weather is nice, the blooming courtyard garden invites you to linger and enjoy the moment. The menu also offers a good selection for guests with vegan and vegetarian preferences. A comfortable bed, free Wi-Fi, and a generous, indulgent breakfast buffet are standard at the hotel to ensure you have a pleasant stay. An accessible room on the first floor is available upon request. Rooms feature double beds, which can be arranged as separate single beds if needed. Some rooms have a French bed. Some rooms are furnished with a small couch that can be used as an extra bed. One child up to 6 years old stays in the parents’ room free of charge. The price includes the breakfast buffet and a bottle of mineral water upon arrival.
