Walk to beach in 3 minutes! Activities are just across the street: kiteboarding, windsurfing, sailing, sunset sails, snorkeling sails, cafes, etc. Local grocery stores are within walking distance as well as a bus across the street that goes to other beaches. Bus stop is in front of the Marriott and the public bike rental rack. Free palapas on most beaches. Please note that there is a security camera on the front porch and one in the driveway for your safety and protection. The space This is a private suite ( our ONLY AIRBNB one! ). with a private entrance off the front patio which is also private for guests The room is accessed with a coded lockbox. (see photos). There is an Airco, a new queen sized bed, ensuite bath with shower, no kitchen but a small fridge, microwave, coffeepot, flat screen tv , outside solar lighting for nighttime on front patio by your door and wifi access. Outside solar lights are also in the driveway, on the house and rooftop balcony. The wifi pw is in the house manual in the room Table and benches are on the front patio for your use as well as a drying rack for beach towels and bathing suits. We provide a hose outside on the walkway by the patio to rinse the sand off your feet before you go into your room. Your selection of places to go for breakfast buffets, lunch and dinner are numerous and nearby. Sorry but we cannot accommodate pets due to allergies both by us and potentially some of our guests. Note also : Photo upon acceptance and government id required. Guest access Guests have access to the room by way of a numbered code on a lockbox on the door so you don't have to keep up with a key. Code given at booking. The door to the room is private, separate from the house off the front patio. You can see this in the photos. The front patio is available for your use. If you rent a car, there is parking in front of the house along the wall or in our driveway. Other things to note We require a recent photo of guests as well as a government id. TELEPHONE USE: There is no telephone land line in the room. If you will need phone service in Aruba, please arrange that with your service provider before you leave. The alternative is to buy a sim card or a local prepaid phone when you arrive at the airport or you can purchase one also at various other locations around the island. Beach chairs and palapas can sometimes be rented AT most BEACHES…..but GET THERE EARLY!! The closest beach shop is across the street, a 4 minute walk, between the two hotels and called VELA SURF SHOP. If you rent a car or ATV, which they will deliver, there is parking is along the wall in front of the house or on the driveway in front of the gate. There is a hose on the sidewalk that you can use to rinse sand off before going into the room. You can leave sandy footware on the porch. Please note that we cannot accommodate pets due to allergies. We do not provide airport pickup. The taxi is about $35.00 We do not provide a washer dryer. There is a laundromat a few blocks away if needed. People have been using the shower to rinse bathing suits, etc.
