Heart of the Redwoods-Wapiti Cottage

Welcome to our Wapiti (Elk) Cottage, one of three newly renovated cottages available on our property. Come experience our beautiful Northern Coastal Redwoods in this beautiful, cozy cottage filled with all the amenities of home including exceptional cleaning standards. This Cottage features 3 Bedrooms (1 King, 1 Queen, 1 Full & 1 Twin), 1 Bathroom w/ Walk-In Shower & double vanity, Full NEW Kitchen, Dining Room, Laundry Room (full size washer & dryer), Living Room w/ 55” Smart TV, Fireplace, & free WiFi. We are quite literally in the middle of the Redwoods! We are surrounded by our amazing Redwoods, parks, trails, beaches, & wildlife. We are right off the Redwood Highway. You will have access to the whole Cottage as well as the front & back yard. You may also go down to the creek behind the property, be advised it is fishable but no lifeguards are on duty. Feel free to enjoy our whole property. When in season, help yourselves to the many wild berries that encircle our property. There is a fire pit out back & firewood is provided as well as a Gas BBQ & picnic tables. A baby high chair, gate, & Pack & Play are available upon request. We are tucked in the middle of the National Redwood Park & close to Fern Canyon and Prairie Creek Redwood State Park. We are 18 miles south of Trees of Mystery, 20 miles north of beautiful Trinidad with so many trails, beaches and lagoons in between. We are a great central point in all your adventures while exploring the beautiful North Coastal Redwoods while providing a cozy oasis to rest in between your adventures. Sometimes in our neck of the woods, we lose power. We now have a whole-house GENERATOR so your stay with us will not have much interruption.
