Banyan House at Balenbouche Estate, on 70 acres of beachfront property

Description

Balenbouche Estate is a renowned guesthouse, organic farm, heritage site and family home. The 70-acre grounds feature a plantation house, yoga barn, and 18th-century sugar mill surrounded by ancient trees, pastures, and wild beaches. Dining, massages and tours are available. The South of the island is the most beautiful and authentic. The pitons, hot springs, waterfalls and many other attractions are a short drive away. All our eco-friendly cottages (Waterlily, Banyan, Almond, Frangipani, Calabash and Moringa) are built without screens and cooled by the tropical breeze. Banyan House is the largest of our vacation rentals and can accommodate up to six people. The Asian-inspired design and natural wood walls and hardwood floors create a warm and cozy feel. The 2 bedrooms and bathrooms are adjoining, and there are four separate beds plus a baby cot, making this cottage particularly suitable for groups or larger families with young children. There is also a living room with two twin beds, a veranda with dining table and sofa, an indoor shower and a spacious bathtub, and a beautiful outdoor shower built with natural stone. The kitchen is equipped with basic cooking utensils, gas stove, oven and full-size fridge.
