Sauna Superior Trail/Lakeside Cabin 18

Stay in this super sized Superior Cabin #18, and your group (sleeps 14) will have over 3700 sq. ft., including an entire floor dedicated to entertainment including a sauna, a Foosball table, shuffleboard, & much more. Walk out the back door onto your balcony and/or patio & embrace the beauty of the Keweenaw Waterway in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Whatever your needs may be: Visiting Michigan Tech, snowmobiling, swimming, or skiing, we offer a comprehensive resort experience for you. The space Cabin 18 is known as a "Superior" Cabin because you and your friends & family will have 3 floors of fun. The lowest level has an incredible entertainment area, the main floor (the one you enter) has one bedroom, full bathroom, open kitchen and living space, and finally, the third floor, contains 4 bedrooms, all with ensuite 3/4 bathrooms. So, when you open your door and you are already on the ground level of your new place! You will be instantly greeted with the aroma of pine which is visible in the tongue and groove walls and ceiling as well as an instant sight of north facing windows capturing a stunning view of the Portage Canal. What you will find on second look is a comfortable queen bed around the corner and many beautifully crafted pieces of cedar, Amish made furniture. Traverse the stairs to the third floor and you will find four more bedrooms, two of which have double queen bunk beds. In all, the Superior Cabin accommodates up to fourteen adults with plenty of bathrooms - 6 total! All of this amazing Superior Cabin can be yours including an awesome entertainment area. Complete with a 3 person Canadian Hemlock sauna, this recreational space is unlike any of our other cabins. There are other dedicated spaces in the entertainment room including a Roku TV viewing area, Foosball table, shuffleboard, a play area for young children, and other gathering spaces. Cabin 18 is a custom milled, north woods, mega cabin boasting three stories of fun. The cabin size in total is 3775 square feet with your own patio AND balcony! . All cabins include a full kitchen and a washer/dryer unit for your convenience and utility. Of course there is a fully stocked kitchen, linens, and towels. Your family and friends will thank you. Guest access Auto parking is directly in front of the cabin. There is plowed, trailer parking 1500 feet from the resort. There will be a sign. Other things to note The cancellation policy is "Firm" except the cancellation window is outside of 60 days before check-in rather than 30 days. * Bill Nichols trail is only .25 miles from the resort! * Mont Ripley is less than 2 miles from the resort! * Downtown Houghton is 1.5 miles from the resort! * Michigan Tech Ski-trails are only 5 miles away from the resort. You can rent skis but visit Tech's SDC website first.
