Two charmingly rustic holiday cabins on the edge of the forest in Bergslagen

Ängen and Enebacken are the names of these two holiday cottages with a special charm and a great location at the edge of the forest. You can go for walks and extended hikes or simply let your soul unwind. In addition to nature, the surroundings offer interesting cultural sites (museums, mines, opera, etc.) and Kloten is approximately 13 km away, with a climbing park, canoe and bicycle hire. Kopparberg with shopping facilities is 12 km away. Relax in this natural and peaceful accommodation. Ängen is an old log cabin which was brought back to life anew in 2020. It has been fitted with a newly built bathroom, running hot and cold water and electricity. An attempt was made to preserve the old and adapt the new. The cottage offers sufficient space for two people. In the living area there is a sofa bed (sleeping surface 140 x 200 cm), 2 armchairs and a small, fold-out table. If needed, a second small cottage, called Enebacken, can be used additionally. This is located approximately 30 m away from Ängen and offers two more people the opportunity to sleep there. A sofa bed (140 x 200 cm sleeping surface), built-in cupboards and a secretary desk are available here. A dry toilet, which is located between the two cottages, can be used as desired. Otherwise, the sanitary facilities in Ängen are available for use. A breakthrough has been created to the kitchen in Ängen, which has resulted in a comfortable counter. There you can enjoy pleasant meals and communication whilst cooking. The kitchen is equipped with all necessary crockery and kitchen utensils. A fridge-freezer combination, toaster, coffee grinder, kettle, and as desired an electric cooker with two hobs and a small oven are located in the kitchen and the adjoining storage area. The heart of the kitchen is an old, refurbished wood-burning stove. You can cook and bake to your heart's content there. The bathroom is spacious and individually designed and equipped with a toilet, sink and shower. Hot water and heating are provided by electricity. Alternatively, you can heat and cook with wood. Electricity and wood are charged additionally. (1 kWh = 2.5 SEK). Firewood is available free of charge, one crate; each additional crate costs 80 SEK. In 2023, a spacious veranda and a small workshop were added. This makes Ängen a small jewel at the forest's edge, if you appreciate the charm of the simple and rustic.
