Description
The “Musikerschlößl” in the spa park. Rosenvilla Vacation Home: The Rosenvilla was built in 1840 by Ferdinand Lidl von Lidlsheim. Located directly in the spa gardens, the “Musikerschlössl” primarily hosted renowned musicians and composers such as Giacomo Meyerbeer (around 1847) and the violin virtuoso Josef Joachim. 1909 - 1911, Franz Lehár spent his summers here and composed the operettas *Gypsy Love*, *The Count of Luxembourg*, *Eva*, and *A Prince’s Child*. The Biedermeier-style portico villa has been completely restored and is furnished with the original furniture. A pavilion stands in the 1,700 m² Biedermeier garden with a fountain. Check-in is available from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and check-out from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM.
