Haven Ridge is a perfect place to rest and recharge, escape from a hectic schedule, enjoy nature, or celebrate a special occasion. Antique and modern elements combine to create a unique mountain experience on this 1.85 acre lot. The exterior features preserved circa 1882 logs, while the interior features reclaimed trim from a 1940s tobacco barn. The covered screen porch is a guest favorite! The property has 125 ft of private river frontage just a short walk down the drive, below the cabin, perfect for a picnic, fishing, kayaking, or just enjoy sitting by the water with a good book! This walk is a short distance but it’s cardio workout, I won’t lie, I’m in my 60’s and I can make it but it definitely gets my heart rate up. There is space directly below the cabin on the property to park a car if necessary while using the river space. Both towns offer grocery shopping, good restaurants, specialty shops, easy walking and lots to see and do. Boone and Blowing Rock are an easy thirty minute drive from the cabin and worth a day trip visit. Grayson Highlands is also close by and has great non technical hiking trails, often the ponies are grazing along the trails. We hope you enjoy your time in the North Carolina mountains!
