Conveniently situated, just down from the bridge, it sits on the gateway to east and west Pembrokeshire and some of its most glorious beaches are within easy reach. To the west lies the Dale Peninsula, Martins Haven, the embarkation point for boat trips to Skomer to see the puffins, Broad Haven and Little Haven, all popular villages with lovely sandy beaches. While to the east is Pembroke with its excellent facilities and imposing Medieval Castle, from here explore Bosherston, Freshwater West and Angle, to name but a few.
