Cozy Beach Cottage

Little Beach Cottage with that “back in the day” feel. Remember when you couldn’t wait to see the ocean water as you came over the bridge. The anticipation of getting to your cottage, putting on your bathing suit and heading to the beach, This little cottage gives you that “old time feel” but still updated comforts for your perfect family vacation! The rocking chair front porch will certainly be your invitation to come and relax for your stay! You are sure to enjoy the evenings, while watching the sun retreat over the sound. Offering 3 bedroom and one full bath, fully equipped kitchen, ceiling fans throughout plus an outdoor shower!!! The Little Beach Cottage is located within walking distance to the Surf City pier, restaurants, shops, beach access and parks. I live about 7 miles from the Island so you can rest assured that I am a local and available if you need anything during your stay. The laundry room is downstairs (right side door) and the key to that will be in kitchen window. This is the room with the beach things. Beach wagon, 2 striped beach chairs with matching umbrella and 3 canvas beach chairs There are beach toys also. In the little closet just off the kitchen there are some extra things and please help yourself. Beach towels, etc. I will have the beds made for your arrival so you won't have to pack any sheets, towels, kitchen, etc. I provide 5 beach towels providing the previous guest didn't keep for souvenir . It happens and I have plenty. There is plenty of paper products (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, foam dinner plates, and trash bags. There is a Keurig so there will be a few coffee pods to get you started along with a drip coffee maker. 6 pack of bottle water in the fridge cold for your arrival. A couple of years ago the town of Surf City installed bike lanes on S Topsail which is wonderful for walking and biking. Beach Access: As a local, we say “oh, about this far”. I have actually walked to the nearest beach access so I will know exact distance. When you walk out of the driveway and turn to the left you will go 326 normal walking steps. Then turn left onto Seahorse Avenue and walk an additional 126 normal walking steps. The beach access is directly at the end. I hope I have covered everything but if not please let me know.
