Welcome to Split-Level Simplicity in Shakopee, your cozy home away from home. Enjoy a large dining table, comfortable living room, and recreation room with TV, foosball, and games. The kitchen is fully equipped with cooking essentials and service for 8. The 4 bedrooms sleep up to 8 guests and include TVs with Roku. The house has 2 bathrooms, one with a deep soaking tub. Stay active in the fourth bedroom with a dedicated fitness space. Our home is perfect for a comfortable stay! The space Upon entry, a coat closet on the landing offers easy storage. Upstairs, you’ll find a living room, kitchen, dining room, bathroom, master bedroom (king-size bed), and second bedroom (twin-over-full bunk bed). Downstairs, you will find the cozy recreation room, second bathroom, third bedroom (two twin-size beds), and fourth bedroom (twin bed) that doubles as a library and fitness room. Each bedroom is thoughtfully equipped with alarm clocks, USB charging ports, and plenty of storage options including drawers, shelves, and/or hangers. We’ve taken care of your comfort with fresh kitchen, bathroom, and bed linens. Our kitchen is ready for your culinary adventures, complete with pots, pans, bakeware, essential cooking utensils, a toaster, hand mixer, electric kettle, coffee maker, and Keurig. To make your stay even more convenient, we’ve provided a starter pack of essentials: toilet paper, hand soap, facial tissue, dish soap, dishwasher pods, paper towels, and laundry pods. For longer stays, you may need to restock these items, but we’ve got you covered to get started. Guest access Guest will have full access to the home with the exception of the closet under the stairs, the garage, and the outdoor storage shed. Additionally, guest are not given access to the cleaning cupboards upstairs and the storage cupboard and shelves in the laundry room. Other things to note House Rules: Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in is at 4:00 PM, and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Primary Guest Policy: No Third-Party Bookings. The person who books the stay must be present and staying at the property for the duration of the reservation. We do not allow third-party bookings. Maximum Occupancy: No more than 8 overnight guests. We welcome families but do not have our house baby-proofed (no gate on stairs, etc.) and cannot provide pack and plays or highchairs. Pets: Pets, including emotional support animals, are not allowed. Our property is not pet friendly (hardwood floors, split level, no fencing). If you have a trained service animal, please contact us in advance to discuss arrangements (service animals may not be left unattended). Guests: While we welcome you to have up to 8 additional guests over during the day, please note that parties or events are not permitted without prior approval. Quiet Hours: Please observe Shakopee quiet hours from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM to respect our neighbors. Any complaints of excessive noise or disturbance may result in eviction without a refund. Parking: A maximum of four cars can fit (cozily) in the driveway. No overnight street parking is allowed. Do not park on the grass or block driveways. Mail: Please do not have packages/mail sent to the property. The community uses locking mailboxes which are unaccessible to guests. Amazon lockers are available at nearby retailers. Smoking: No smoking inside the house or on the deck. Smoking is permitted outside only; please safely dispose of cigarette butts in garbage bin. Security: Lock all doors and windows when leaving the property. Kitchen Use: Please wash dishes and clean up after cooking. For specific details, there is a copy of the house manual on site. Amenities: Use of amenities such as fitness equipment is at your own risk. Follow posted guidelines. Please cover the foosball table and put away games, toys, and books when you are finished with them. Furniture and Decor: Do not move large furniture. If you need to move items (such as extend the table or bring stools upstairs), please return them to their original place. Linens and Towels: Do not remove linens or towels from the house. We do not provide swim towels or outdoor blankets. Garbage: Dispose of all trash and recycling as needed in the designated bins on the left side of the garage. Garbage pickup is on Fridays so bins will be located on the curb Thursday evening-Friday afternoon (exceptions for holidays). Cleaning: No need to worry about stripping beds, doing laundry, or vacuuming - our cleaning fee covers that. Used towels can be left on the bathroom floors. Don’t leave food or belongings behind, put things back where you found them, take the kitchen trash out, put dishes in the dishwasher and run it. Finally, turn out the lights as you lock up. Damage: Report any damages or issues immediately. Guests are responsible for damage caused during their stay. Belongings: Please double-check to ensure you have all your belongings before departure. If you realize you’ve left something of value behind, contact us as soon as possible. While we are not responsible for items left behind, we will do our best to assist. If we can return the item, a $20 handling fee plus postage and any other costs will apply. Respect: Treat the property with respect. We love hosting and strive to make our house a welcoming space. Please help us keep it nice for future guests (which hopefully includes you too!). VIOLATION OF HOUSE RULES: Any guests found to be in violation of our house rules will be promptly asked to depart, and refunds will not be provided.
