Take a moment, breath in the views, notice the words on the wall…find one that matches your heart’s desire…take a hike, cast a line, open a book. You will find your spot to heal, to rest, and to engage. Other things to note Just 100 ft from the open water, you have direct access to Fort Gibson lake. Enjoy a day at the beach by driving or walking a 1/2 mile from our home - prop up an umbrella, lather on the sunblock, and float in the cool waters as boats speed by to catch fish or waves! A public use boat ramp is only 1/4 of a mile down the road. Illinois river float trips are only 35 mins away. Float trip locations such as Peyton’s Place, Eagles Bluff and Illinois River Outfitters are great locations to float.
