The Moose Times Lodge invites you to stay in our spacious, newly remodeled 2000 sq ft apartment in a quiet wooded setting. Close to parks, hiking, golf and the Zoo. Please note this is a lower-level unit, so you WILL hear foot traffic from guests above. Large family friendly, but no parties allowed! The space Moose TImes Lodge is located in South Anchorage down a quiet, private road. The lodge is comprised of three premium apartments, one upper and two lower. The Big Bear Den is located on the lower level only has two steps to reach an otherwise fully accessible home with 36" entry doors. Have a larger group? All units may be rented when available! The lodge is surrounded by pristine alpine forest with serene views and the relaxing sounds of nature. Wildlife sightings are common, especially moose, but occasionally a bear. We recommend you keep your distance from them all. We have outfitted all bedrooms with blackout curtains and blinds to ensure your sleep in our comfortable beds and plush linens is uninterrupted by the summer sun. Guest access Located on a well-maintained and accessible road with easy access to airport, downtown, shopping, state parks, skiing, hiking and biking trails, we are a central location to any points of interest in Anchorage. Our lodge has easy parking and electronic door locks that make it easy for you to arrive on your schedule with self-entry. We will provide with a custom code prior to your arrival. Other things to note We try to keep a variety of extra amenities on the property to enhance the guest experience. Because our property may have three groups at any time, we cannot guarantee extra amenities will be available, but please ask. We will do our best to accommodate you. Also, the Big Bear Den was remodeled in 2024 after being a long-term family residence. Please help us improve the guest experience by notifying us personally of anything that we may have forgotten.
