In this special spot mere steps from the lake's edge, you'll spend your days swimming, fishing, and taking out the provided canoe from your very own dock. You'll find this seasonal home on China Neck, the peninsula that sits in the heart of China Lake. The east-facing position makes the house a showcase of morning sunrises over the water, best enjoyed on the enclosed porch a mere 10 feet from the water's edge. Bring your family for a magical summer of watching eagles overhead from the hammock, barbecuing and picnicking among the trees, and roasting s'mores nightly around the outdoor firepit. Inside, you'll be treated to both atmosphere and comfort, including a well-equipped kitchen, a lakefront dining space, and a gas fireplace to curl up next to in the living room. Complimentary high-speed WiFi is even on hand to help you plan your daily adventures. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. There is no washer/dryer. All guests shall abide by the good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Guest access You'll enter using the keypad by your door. Enter your access code - a green light will flash when it's accepted. If the light flashes red, the code didn't register; wait 5 seconds and try again. If you enter an incorrect code 3 times in a row, the lock will pause for 30 seconds before accepting another attempt. Once the code is accepted, rotate the deadbolt beneath the keypad away from the door jamb to unlock it, then open the door using the handle. When you leave, press the Schlage button on the keypad, then rotate the deadbolt toward the door jamb to engage it. The door does not lock automatically, so please lock it when you depart. A video guide to the lock is available in your check-in materials. Other things to note The water from your tap is safe for bathing and cooking but is not suitable for drinking. Drinking water is provided for you.
