Description

Cozy Guest House in Nature Reserve Enjoy a traditional two-story house, remodeled in 1999, with 4 bedrooms (7 beds, 4 doubles), 4 bathrooms, spacious kitchen and dining room, laundry room and an outdoor living room overlooking the gardens. Access the entire infrastructure of the reserve: Maloca, gardens with benches and tables ideal for relaxing or enjoying a good coffee. Natural trails and quiet spaces await you. The space Observing birds and diurnal and nocturnal butterflies is one of the great attractions of Guadualito. With 146 species of birds, 70 species of butterflies, and hundreds of spectacular moths, you will have an unforgettable encounter with nature. You can also spot the guatines, squirrels, armadillos, and sloths that inhabit the reserve, and if you are lucky, you can find the elusive bush dog (Speothos venaticus), the noisy howler monkeys (Alouatta seniculus), or even the rare yaguarundi (Felis yagouaroundi), a relative of the jaguar, black and large. And every day, at 6:30 pm, settle next to the guest house to wait for an unforgettable show: the departure of a band of nocturnal monkeys (Aotus lemurinus) residing in the reserve. Avoid taking flash photos of them. Guadualito's location on the Roble River canyon is its greatest attraction. The canyon is 120 m deep and the slopes are covered by a developing forest that offers enormous recreational possibilities, including picnics, camping, birdwatching, etc. The canyon is 650 m wide and the Roble River runs at the bottom, offering enormous possibilities for recreation and adventure. With suitable atmospheric conditions, you can see the Tatamá National Park from the Reserve, in the Western Mountain Range (3950 meters above sea level) and the Nevado del Tolima, in the Central Mountain Range (5273 meters above sea level). The guest house is fully equipped, has hot water, wifi and cell phone signal from the main operators. We don't have television: nature is our thing. Registration Details 237397
