Pedernales River Guesthouses - Ponder

Unique luxury one-bedroom guesthouses on the Pedernales River in Johnson City. Perfect for a memorable getaway to the Texas Hill Country and wine trail. Beautiful view and river access. Each house is ~650 sq. ft., with king bed , modern bathroom, a living room/fully equipped kitchen, and an outdoor patio. Airbeds can be provided to sleep up to two more, or two couples could rent both houses. Stairs take you down to the river. No pets. Free Level 2 EV charger (Tesla and J1772). No cleaning fee! The space The two guesthouses are on 15 acres overlooking the Pedernales River. The view from the houses is gorgeous. We (your hosts) live on the property with our two ragdoll cats, River and Sky, and our golden retriever puppy Sherman. We have two friendly horses, Patch and Blossom, who you can visit. We share the environment with an abundance of wild creatures. The river is clean and when the water is high it's good for swimming. When the water is low you can explore on the rocks. This listing is for PONDER. There's a separate listing for an identical adjacent house named BLUE. Each house is ideal for two people, but we will provide air mattresses for up to two additional people. Two couples will be most comfortable booking both houses. Guest access Guests can take the stairs down to the river, and can interact with the horses. Other things to note We do not charge a cleaning fee. We do charge extra per person for more than 2 people. Free Level 2 charger for electric vehicles in parking area. Works with Teslas and adapter provided for other EVs that use J1227 connectors. **There is ONE PARKING SPACE available FOR EACH GUESTHOUSE just outside the guesthouses. If you are going to have more than one car, please let us know before you arrive. We can provide parking for a second car elsewhere on the property .
