Welcome to your Midtown Hattiesburg retreat. Boasting 4 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, this updated family home is ready to be your base for all your Hattiesburg adventures! The primary bedroom has a king size bed and private four piece bath (double sinks, shower, toilet). Three additional bedrooms offer room for everyone to spread out. The 4th bedroom also has a large sectional couch & TV and would be a great additional living space. The updated kitchen is open to the family room, dining room, and keeping room, and also opens onto the large covered porch, which has a TV and outdoor dining and sitting areas, as well as a grill. Off street parking is available, but there is not access to the enclosed garage. We have a great midtown location, close to USM, William Carey, shopping, downtown Hattiesburg, Tatum Park, and really all Hattiesburg has to offer. You won't be more centrally located than this! Hattiesburg was recently chosen by Southern Living magazine as a "Top 25 Southern Cities on the Rise" and we are so proud to share our city with you. Whether you're traveling for arts and entertainment, sports, or leisure Hattiesburg is sure to wow you! We have a plethora of delicious local restaurants, outstanding shopping, a wonderful zoo, and a new water park! Downtown Hattiesburg features unique shopping and dining, including The Lucky Rabbit, Mackenzie's on Main, The Author Shoppe, Buschman Street Cafe, Nellie's Chicken and Daiquiris, and GrateFull Soul (just to name a few!). There are events throughout the year, including the Crawfish Jam in the spring, the BBQ Cook-Off in late summer, HubFest in the fall, year round concerts, sporting events, and a 44 mile Rails to Trails bike/walking path that for the most part can be utilized year round. Although you will have the entire home to yourselves, please note that this is our personal home and there are personal effects and signs that we do actually live here! We ask that you make yourselves at home, but please be respectful! There will be space for you to unpack and relax, but not all drawers & closets are empty.
