Other things to note The condominium beach is clean, suitable for bathing and located in an environmental preservation area. Because it is sheltered, it is ideal for kayaking and similar activities. However, it is not the most attractive for bathing, as the dark bottom – a result of the proximity to the mouth of a river – can cause some visual discomfort. It is possible to cross this river through the condominium itself, during low tide, and access Pontal beach, which has a clear and sandy bottom, offering a more pleasant swimming experience. The best beaches in the region are on the islands, but on the mainland there are also good options, such as Praia Grande and Praia do Laboratório, which are approximately 25 to 45 minutes away by car.
