The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare your own meals, or we can arrange a private chef for an elevated dining experience in the comfort of your villa. Casa Colmena also features a spacious balcony with a floating net lounge, ideal for relaxing while surrounded by nature, as well as an outdoor jacuzzi to unwind after a day of exploration. As this is a remote cloud forest environment, you may encounter wildlife or insects nearby. Rest assured, the villa has been carefully designed to let you enjoy nature while remaining comfortable, protected, and secure. Guest access THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED IN A REMOTE AREA. Please note that your vehicle will remain parked at the main reception area of El Tigre Waterfalls. From there, our team will transport you by 4x4 to your villa. If at any time you need to return to your vehicle, simply let us know and we will take you as soon as possible. In addition to the comfort and design of Casa Colmena, guests enjoy access to unique spaces within the property. At the center of the Hideaway area, you’ll find Yoga Lake, a peaceful spot ideal for reading, relaxing, or observing the many bird species that visit the area. Guests also have full access to the trails, waterfalls, and hanging bridges of El Tigre Waterfalls at no additional cost. If you wish to dine at our panoramic restaurant, our 4x4 vehicle will transport you free of charge, allowing you to enjoy the food while taking in the views. Other things to note Nature, environment, and safety Please note that this experience takes place in a wild and remote cloud forest environment. Our villas are designed to provide comfort, privacy, and safety while allowing you to remain fully immersed in nature. You will be surrounded by native flora and wildlife. It is normal to see insects or forest animals near the villa. Don’t worry — you are in their natural habitat. We simply ask that you respect wildlife and keep a safe distance. For safety reasons, walking through the forest at night without an experienced guide is not recommended. Your comfort, peace of mind, and safety are always our priority.
