Make family memories at this stylish waterfront cottage on Lake of Bays in Muskoka. Private, comfortable & well-equipped, this chic retreat is ideal for a family getaway! Suitable for 6 guests. With a screened Muskoka Room, 2nd sitting room, generous deck & dock, this is the perfect retreat for fun in the sun! Typically rents by the week during the summertime & a min. of 4 nights in the low season. (Mostly rented to friends, hence few Air BnB reviews) The space This stylish cottage has enough well-equipped bedrooms for your family with luxurious bedding and comfortable, mattresses and pillows. There is a serene family room open to the kitchen and dining room and overlooking the lake. Enjoy late night chats with wine or a good book in the morning in the comfortable screened Muskoka Room. The lower level has a TV room with games area, including a poker table. There is one bathroom on each level (but only one shower) and a fully-equipped laundry room. Enjoy s'mores around the fire pit situated next to the lake. The dock is where you'll spend your days -- sunning and playing in the lake. We have blow-up toys, kayaks and even a paddleboard for kids of all ages. (Property Permit for Lake of Bays Short Term rental STR-2025-94, issued June 2, 2025) Guest access Located on Trading Bay - a quiet, large bay with stunning "big lake" views - right across from the town of Dorset with Robinson's General Store, the LCBO, ice cream and some shops. There is space for up to 3 cars at the end of a paved driveway. There are 35 granite steps from the cottage to the lake front fire pit and dock. Other things to note On the main floor, bedrooms 1 and 2 both have King beds. The main floor also has a bunk bed with a Single mattress above a Double. There is a full bathroom with shower on the main level for these bedrooms to share. There is a half bath on the lower level en-suite to a bonus space, privately located next to the rec room.
