Description

This is George, Despoina and Kiriaki (father and daughters) and we recently renovated our house to the Kouniadoi village. We hope you have a wonderful time to our house and to our beautiful island of Ikaria. Enjoy the scenic to the endless blue of the Aegean Sea and leave behind the stress of the big cities. The house is located closely to all the important sight seeing of the island. Granny’s House is a warm embrace of tradition, simplicity, and soul-soothing calm. This charming home carries the quiet wisdom of generations—surrounded by olive trees, wild herbs, and the soft murmur of the Aegean breeze. Located 15 minutes driving from the Raches village, 30 minutes driving from the Mesaxti beach and 45 minutes driving from the port of Evdilos. Wake up to the scent of thyme and the sound of birdsong, enjoy your morning coffee in the yard and let time slow down to the rhythm of Ikarian life. Whether you’re looking for a writer’s hideaway, a nature lover’s base, or a place to reconnect with your roots, Granny’s House offers the peace and authenticity that only a true Ikarian village can give.
