Description
Whether fishing, swimming, boating, canoeing, kayaking, paddle boarding, sailing, birdwatching, mountain hiking, backroad biking, berrypicking or just enjoying a quiet cabin at a beautiful lake smack dab in the middle of Maine, aka "Vacationland," to recharge your batteries is your aim, this 776 sq. ft., 100+ year old, rustic camp at Sebec Lake with 3 bedrooms, 0.75 bath, eat-in kitchen, living room and wraparound, screened-in porch is ready for you to enjoy. The granite-rimmed Sebec Lake is roughly 11 miles long and about 2 miles at its widest. Bass, togue (lake trout) & landlocked salmon are some of the favorite catches. Multiple locations on public lands along the shores are wonderful for picnics. A dock for your boat (or for rented canoe/kayaks) is available. Paddles, cushions and life preservers come with rentals, free of charge. A public boat launch is only about 1 mile away, up Maine State RTE 150 (Sebec Lake Road). Pets are possibly permitted (with host's prior approval & additional fee). Sorry, but no smoking on premises allowed.
