Other things to note To get there you need to take the detour in the municipality of Sierra de Agua, towards Cofre de Perote, you will arrive at the community 20 de Noviembre and shortly after to the community Vidal Diaz Muñoz, (up to here the whole road is asphalt) you will turn right to take a dirt road and approximately 2 km you will be in the Col. EL Progreso where when you go down the main road you will see the cabin. From Perote to the cabin is 18 km. Approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
