Hafod is a charming cottage just a short stroll from the glorious Manorbier Beach. Originally the coach house of this 17th Century farm in the heart of the village. It is one of 3 cottages making up Manorbier Holiday Cottages. It can be booked alone or with the other 2, Ty Mor and Delfryn and can accommodate parties of up to 17.Beautifully and sympathetically renovated, it is comfortably furnished with fresh vibrant colours, the large sash windows ensure a light and airy feel. Step into the cottage-style fitted kitchen/diner with a bathroom leading off. Stairs take you up to the cosy galleried sitting room on the first floor with lovely views towards the Norman Church and across the green valley. The 2 spacious bedrooms lead off, the double room offers views across the courtyard, while the split-level twin room with an extra day bed offers glimpses to the sea.A gravel patio to the side of the cottage with a picnic bench gives space to enjoy an alfresco meal on a summer’s evening, while 2 steps lead down to the walled lawn with mature trees and shrubs, a lovely sheltered spot to relax or children to play.Spend your days on the glorious sandy beach only a short downhill walk away, ideal for families and water sport enthusiasts including surfers; children will love exploring the rock pools at low tide. There is a popular tea room, beach shop, pub and well-stocked village shop all on your doorstep. The best way to explore this stunning coastline is on foot, join the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path heading onto Swan Lake, a beach that is always quiet or further afield to Freshwater East; to the east is Lydstep and the popular beaches of Tenby. The walled seaside town of Tenby offers a range of facilities set down cobbled streets and around a picturesque harbour. While Pembroke to the west, birth place of Henry VII, offers a range of shops and pubs and a fine medieval Castle. There really is something for everyone, golfers will enjoy a choice of 2 golf courses to try, while families will be entertained by the host of family attractions including Oakwood Theme Park, Folly Farm, Heatherton Activity Park and Manor House Wildlife Park all within a short drive.Escape to Hafod, perfect for exploring all that South Pembrokeshire has to offer whatever the time of year and you are sure to relax.Shares the same location as 43671 Delfryn and 43672 Ty Mor and can be booked together. 10% discount available if booking 2 or more cottages, please note this does not apply in conjunction with other offers.
