Located in the historic Jose St. Compound, the house has 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths, a private enclosed courtyard, and one parking space. Cozy, comfortable, and far from cookie cutter, it’s a true reflection of old Santa Fe. The Jose St. Compound has long been part of Santa Fe history. Families lived here as early as the 1920s, and by the 1960s it had evolved into a hippie compound filled with artists, musicians, open doors, and a strong sense of community, an energy that still lingers today. Inside, nearly everything has a story. Some pieces are genuinely antique, including the master bedroom headboard estimated to be over 400 years old and the bench is made from a reclaimed wall in Tibet. Many other pieces were collected over time from local Santa Fe artists. If something catches your eye, feel free to ask, some pieces are for sale, and we’re happy to help point you toward something similar. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly, with a mix of full-time residents, renters, and part-timers. You’re around the corner from Dolina Bakery & Cafe and within easy walking distance of Santa Fe Plaza, making it easy to explore the city without much planning. Santa Fe has a feeling that’s hard to explain until you experience it yourself, the light, landscape, art, and culture all make it unlike anywhere else. Whether you’re here for galleries, festivals, great food, or simply a quiet escape, this home is meant to feel grounded, personal, and welcoming. This is my personal home, not a turnover rental. There’s a welcome gift waiting in the fridge. Look at our guidebook for a list of favorite local spots to eat, drink, and wander. Enjoy Santa Fe! Guest access Guests have full access to the 2-bedroom house, including the private courtyard and parking for one vehicle. You’re welcome to relax in the courtyard, enjoy the seating area, and make yourself at home. The house is right next to Dolina Cafe and Bakery, and just a short walk to the plaza, making it easy to explore Santa Fe. We’ll provide instructions for check-in, Wi-Fi, and any other details you need to enjoy your stay. Other things to note Please note that the Santa Fe sits at approximately 7,000 feet in elevation. Guests who aren’t used to higher altitude may want to drink plenty of water and take it easy on alcohol during the first day or two. If you’re feeling the effects of altitude, canned oxygen (available at CVS/similar stores) can be helpful. Registration Details STR154887
