Lakeside Chalet w/ dock and King bed!

Set on the shoreline of beautiful Lake St. George, this chalet rests in a quiet, private setting that simply brings happiness and a sense of calm. Enjoy one of Maine's clearest lakes from the comfort of this amazing home! Or, walk across the grassy lawn to the lake to start your day w/coffee on the dock while watching the sunrise. Go for a swim or a paddle. Take the provided canoe for a tour of the lake, a fishing outing or a sunset cruise. Keep your eyes peeled for bald eagles and loons! At night enjoy gazing at the stars. The main level of the house is an open concept with a massive stone chimney that soars to the top of the living room’s vaulted ceiling. The “wall of glass” that faces the lake allows for amazing light while the two ceiling fans keep the air moving. This level has the fully equipped kitchen, living room with large smart TV, dining area, craft/game table area, the bedroom with queen bed, one full bathroom and laundry machines. The wrap-around deck has chairs, table and a gas grill. The upper level is a loft that has the master bedroom with king bed, smart TV and the other full bathroom. The lower level has the room with bunk beds (twin and full mattress), love seat and four tall windows that provide for a great view of the lake. Heat/cooling pumps on main floor and lower level keep the house comfortable in cold and hot weather. The home is modernized with free WiFi, two new 4K smart TV’s and roku devices to enable you to login to your streaming subscriptions. For your safety and security, we have an electronic keypad for entry and front door camera. If you desire to explore more of Maine, we are a relatively short drive to some GREAT coastal towns: 16 miles to Belfast, 20 miles to Camden/Rockport, 73 to Acadia National Park & 79 miles to Portland. PLEASE NOTE: there are roughly 20 gradual steps to get from the parking area down to the house. From the house to the lake there are stairs down from the deck and then a very gradual walk across the lawn to the lake. This is our dream home on our dream lake . . . we believe you'll love it too!
