Burren Seaside Lodge Description– Sleeps 8This 3 bedroom fully insulated home which sleeps 8 comfortably. All beds were replaced at the beginning of 2023 featuring hotel-quality mattresses. The house has been fully insulated with new triple-glazed windows and doors. Also, a new electric heating has been installed which is fully energy efficient leaving the house cosy and warm all year round. Property layout – Ground floor: - Fully equipped kitchen - Full dining room - Living room with flat-screen and cosy fireplace - Bedroom 1: kingsize ensuite sleeping 2 Property layout – First floor: - Bedroom 2: kingsize & single sleeping 3 - Bedroom 3: triple sleeping 3 - Family bathroom with extra-large modern shower and all electric fittings (newly renovated) Enjoy an outdoor chat with your friends and family in a large south-facing fully enclosed garden with a patio and dining table perfect for al fresco dining. WiFi is available in the house; dedicated desk space is provided in the common area. Local Area & Tourist AttractionsThe lively seaside village of Ballyvaughan has an array of eateries, shops and traditional Irish pubs. The local Tea and Garden Rooms are well-known and people come from miles to savour the delicious homemade cakes and savoury dishes. Things to do in the local area: - Blue Flag Beach at Bishop’s Quarter & Fanore - The Burren National Park - Doolin Village - Doolin Cave - The Clare Heritage Museum - The Cliffs of Moher - Father’s Ted Parochial House - Hazel Mountain Chocolates - The Burren Perfumery - Aran Islands IMPORTANT NOTES 1. Heating and Electricity: Energy charges vary depending on the property. From mid-October to the end of April, a flat rate of €15 per day applies for heating. During the peak season, there is no charge for energy use. We recommend checking with the Property Manager or Owner before arrival or making a booking for specific details. 2. Security Deposit: A minimum refundable security deposit of €200 (per property) must be paid before check-in to your holiday home to the local Property Manager/ Owner. This is either taken over the phone by pre-authorising your credit card when you call the Property Manager to arrange your arrival time 48 hours in advance of arrival or at others it is taken on arrival by cash. In some locations and at certain times of year this can increase to €500 per property.
