Relax and connect with nature while enjoying beautiful mountain views, a large deck overlooking a small fishing lake, and sightings of local wildlife almost daily! This cabin is the perfect place to detach from your every day busy life. Whether you're interested in a quiet intimate retreat, hiking and adventuring, or reading by the fire and playing a board games, our cabin is just the place to do so! This newly updated, central Pennsylvania cabin is not a traditional dark and dingy cabin. With a beautiful open floor plan, our chalet-like cabin features rustic bohemian decor while still maintaining warmth and coziness. You'll find hand-made art and accessories throughout the cabin, many from local makers. At just under 1900 square feet, this 2 bedroom 2.5 bath home also includes a loft bedroom. Rooms and amenities include: -Master bedroom with King bed and Master bath -Guest room with Queen bed -Loft bedroom with Full bed, privacy curtain and futon -Bedding, towels and travel sized shampoo/conditioner/soap provided -Fully stocked kitchen with pots, pans, utensils, Keurig coffee maker and kcups -Open living room with double sided stone fireplace -Open dining area with seating for 6 -Sunroom facing the back side of fireplace and doors walking you out to deck -50mbps WiFi for those who may need to work -Newly installed level 2 EV charger so you can bring your electric car! -Gas grill Outside you can enjoy the large, partially covered deck where you can choose to be shaded or to bask in the sun while enjoying your coffee. Look for turtles, deer, turkey and other wildlife on a daily basis. Wrap yourself in a blanket when going on the deck at night and look at some of the most amazing views of the stars you will ever see! Please note: Beaver Lake is owned by club members and is used primarily for fishing. Maintaining a thriving eco-system is extremely important to the community. This means that usually the lake is at least partially covered with lilies and/or other lake growth. Swimming is not permitted. We've recently cleaned out and added river rock to our garden area located on the cabin side of the garage. You'll find stringed lights and a fire pit for late night s'mores and star-gazing. This cabin truly is away from it all, but just a short drive from some cute small towns and Williamsport, known for Little League World Series and it's historic town speckled with amazing restaurants. Adventure Seekers Our cabin is just 5 miles away from Hunter's lake, well known for boating and kayaking. For amazing hiking trails and waterfalls be sure to visit Worlds End (20 mins away) and Ricketts Glenn (25 mins away). Located 9 miles from Hughesville, 8 miles from Historic Eagles Mere, 23 miles from Williamsport and 25 miles from Bloomsburg. ***Please note: No pets Absolutely NO smoking We install a window unit A/C in both bedrooms in June and we have a splitter in the loft. There are 3 ceiling fans and floor fans available as well. Winter guests: our driveway will be plowed but we recommend AWD or 4WD for the backroads outside the property. Travelers with small children should be aware that this cabin is located on the side of a steep hill overlooking the lake and the property is not fenced off. Children must be carefully supervised.
