Relax in Bay Ridge, one of NYC’s safest and most family-friendly neighborhoods. Our home is on a quiet residential street, offering a peaceful retreat after a day in the city. Just a 5-minute walk to the R subway line with easy access to Manhattan and major attractions. Ideal for families and tourists seeking comfort and convenience. Per NYC law, we may host only two "paying guests". Please message us if your group includes more than two adults or includes children. The space Enjoy a comfortable stay with the following amenities: - a queen-sized bed - a pull-out sofa bed that can be converted to a king size - private full bathroom with bathtub - private entrance with self check-in - private kitchenette with Keurig coffee, mini-fridge, microwave, induction cooktop, and more - access to shared common areas. Services within 5 minute walk - R line subway station (5 minutes) - Supermarket (2 minutes) - Laundromat (2 minutes) - Pharmacy (2 minutes) - Bank ( 3 minutes) - Massage Parlor (2 minutes) - Ask me any local questions! Delicious Restaurants within 5 minute walk - Bagel shop (3 minutes) - Diner (2 minutes) - Exotic Yemen Coffee/Tea Shop (2 minutes) - Bakery (2 minutes) - Pizza (3 minutes) - Fried Chicken (3 minutes) - Old School Italian Restaurant (4 minutes) - Ask me for more food recommendations! Please note this Airbnb is in a 100-year old house with original wood flooring intact. As such, while we make every effort to walk softly, you will hear the sound of footsteps outside of quiet hours. In addition, while we make every effort to minimize noise level, you may overhear some conversation as background noise (especially around dinner time). We share this caveat very openly so that your expectations are aligned. During your stay Enjoy as much privacy as you like with your private amenities listed above. If you have questions or encounter any issues, your hosts WFH and are available to address issues immediately. We are easily reachable via phone, text, or Airbnb app. Other things to note ⯁ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ⯁ 1. Do you offer early check in and/or late check out? ⯁ We will confirm day of your check-in date subject to cleaner schedule and status of the house. Please plan for 4 PM check-in and leaving your luggage with us; we offer complimentary luggage drop-off. We try our best to accommodate any requests though! 2. Is this family friendly? ⯁ Yes, as parents of a toddler, we go to great lengths to ensure that the Airbnb (and whole home) is family friendly for every guest. The Airbnb is shoe-free (spa slippers provided) and we utilize all-natural, non-toxic cleaning products. ⯁ For young children, we can set up baby crib (Pack 'n' Play) and children's toys/books prior to your arrival. We will also install additional safety features (ex. plastic outlet plugs). Let us know if you require these complimentary services. 3. Are pets, service animals, or ESAs allowed? ⯁ No pets or animals allowed. Our toddler is very allergic. 4. Is this smoke, vape, 420, or drug friendly? ⯁ Our property is not appropriate for smokers, vapers, 420, or drug users. This is our family home with a young child. In addition, our Airbnb regularly hosts families with children as well. 5. What is your cancellation policy? ⯁ Our cancellation policy is "Firm". Please see Airbnb support article for full definition (https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/475). If you are past an automatic full refund, let us know your situation. We will do our best to rebook your dates with another guest and remit you the difference. 6. Is this appropriate for guests with mobility issues (ex. wheelchair, walkers, general balance, etc.)? ⯁ We are unable to accommodate guests with wheelchairs or walkers. We do not recommend our property to guests with mobility issues (ex. poor balance, legs in casts, etc.). The entrance onto the property includes 2-steps up from street level. The entrance to the Airbnb itself is a tight 5-steps down staircase with handrail that curves 90 degrees to the right. 6. What sort of noises can I expect to hear during my stay? ⯁ Primary heating is a "hot-water radiator" system. You may hear some "gurgling", water flowing sound, and wood creaking (due to thermal expansion) when the system turns on or when sink or shower hot water is first turned on. You may also hear some wood creaking and footstep sounds. This is a 100-year old house with original wood flooring and some creaking is to be expected. You may hear some conversation around dinnertime. You may also hear below-average in frequency street and sidewalk noise. If you are sensitive to noise, please let us know before booking. 7. Can I book Airbnb Experiences and Services for my stay? ⯁ Airbnb Experiences and Services are NOT allowed on the premises due to insurance reasons. You are welcome to book them if the Experience or Service occurs outside of the Airbnb. Note that we as hosts have zero relationship or control over any Experiences or Services you book. If you experience any issues with said Experience or Service, contact Airbnb support directly; we are unable to help you.
