Come escape to Normandy, just 20 minutes from Caen! Located in the heart of Suisse Normande in Ouffières, Calvados, La Ferme des Épis is a unique lodging complex where you can stay with family, friends, or as a couple in a traditional Mongolian yurt, a gypsy caravan, a teepee cabin, a guesthouse, or a fully equipped cabin! Featuring a cozy bedroom with a double bed upstairs, you’ll find all the comforts you need on the first floor of our teepee-style cabin: - A living room with a sofa bed - A fully equipped kitchen (microwave, stovetop, coffee maker, and refrigerator) - A shower room with a sink, shower, and toilet. To help you enjoy the sunshine and nature, a terrace lets you admire our horses and take in the natural surroundings. Sheets and towels are not provided with the rental. You can also enjoy the various activities we offer: - A wellness area with a hot tub and infrared sauna - An escape room - A treasure hunt - An inflatable playground (in the summer) - Creative workshops - Bike rentals - Board games - Outdoor sports activities: a ping-pong table, foosball, pétanque, badminton, a basketball and soccer court, and archery! Something to delight young and old alike! We also organize various events such as Halloween parties, a Christmas market, a Wellness Festival, and campfire happy hours every Tuesday in July and August. During your stay at the farm, you can explore “Swiss Normandy” through these various activities! You can explore the region on foot along various hiking trails, where you’ll enjoy magnificent views, particularly of the Pain de Sucre and the Roche d’Oëtre. You can go canoeing, kayaking, riding a rail sled, or tackling a via ferrata in Clécy, the capital of Swiss Normandy, as well as donkey rides and even dog-sled rides (in winter). You can also explore the beaches and various D-Day museums just one hour from the farm. Our farm is home to our animal friends: rabbits, chickens, ducks, cats, and even horses! Our goal: to offer you a change of scenery and a complete immersion among the animals and the tranquility of nature.
