It’s the ideal place, featuring two bedrooms, a large, spacious living room, a kitchen, and two bathrooms with heating, plus free parking. We can pick you up at the airport. The ALIH guesthouse is ideally located just a few minutes from the Cotonou airport, a few meters from the SUPER (U) Calavi shopping center (with breakfast, lunch, and restaurants), and close to attractions such as AgouaLand (mini zoo) as well as the historic town of Ganvié, a lakeside village rich in diversity. The property meets European standards and can accommodate up to 5 people. Secure neighborhood. Electricity is prepaid, meaning it’s rechargeable. You can top up as needed. The apartment is professionally cleaned between each stay. This includes: sanitizing all kitchen surfaces, mopping the floors, sanitizing the tile floors, and cleaning the bathrooms... We can assure you that the apartment is clean, safe, and disinfected; the bathrooms are cleaned; the sheets and pillowcases are changed; and the furniture is dusted. We perform a deep clean of the apartment every quarter, with all furnishings cleaned by professional cleaners. Certain hard-to-reach areas, such as light fixtures, can accumulate very small dust particles. We offer a free cleaning once a week if your stay is longer than 7 days. Cleaning supplies and equipment, such as a broom and a laundry basket, are provided. Please note that this is a hot and humid city. We close all windows after cleaning before your arrival. For this reason, the apartment may have a slight musty smell, which disappears very quickly after airing out—this does not mean it is not clean. Please open the window and let some fresh air circulate upon your arrival. -The apartment is self-contained. To help you get started, we stock it with one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, dish soap and body wash, dishwashing detergent, and a kitchen trash can. We’ll restock these once a week if your stay is longer than 7 days. Your apartment has a gas stove. If you use it regularly, please check the gas tank level by feeling how heavy/full it is. We also check this after every guest departure, but we are unable to monitor your usage; therefore, if you use the stove, please be sure to check the gas level and let us know if you think it’s almost empty. We do not live in the apartment to assist you if you are having trouble. If you need someone to come help you, there may be a one-hour wait if there is no actual problem and it’s simply a matter of not understanding how to use something. We’re confident you’ll be able to handle everything in the apartment since everything is simple and standard. Please keep in mind that we do not live on-site and will address this as soon as possible. All appliances are checked before your arrival and confirmed to be in good working order. However, some things are beyond our control and can happen without warning or explanation. If an appliance stops working during your stay, please let us know so we can have it repaired as soon as possible. We’ll do everything we can to help if this happens. We check that the TV is working before your arrival. Sometimes things change, and it shows. If this is the case, please let us know so we can resolve the issue. We provide only one key per guest.
