Description
Honer Farm is situated amongst stunning rural countryside. The perfect location for a quiet, relaxing, get-away with friends or family for uninterrupted peace. Beautiful surroundings give opportunities to see outstanding sunsets, sunrises, sea views, wildlife and the best of the British countryside. The space At the back of the garden you will find the small chicken coop with our rescue chickens. They lay a varied number of eggs per day (more during the summer) and we are more than happy for guests to collect and eat the eggs. Don't worry about feeding them, this is already looked after. But if you would like to give them your vegetable scraps they will love you! The property has 5 bedrooms: 1 first-floor master bedroom suite and 4 ground-floor bedrooms, including a bunk room. The living areas are spacious, including a sitting room with a dining area and a quirky kitchen with a large island. The property is set in approximately 0.4 of an acre with a range of outbuildings including a summer house (the cabin), which doubles up as a gym and games room with a pool table, bar football table, piano bar, large corner sofa, a socialising area with a table and chairs, weights and a bench press, and mains electric light and power. The interior is pine clad with double-glazed windows. There is a large flat lawn, perfect for ball games like volleyball. There is a large outdoor table and chairs, a BBQ and a fire pit (make sure to bring coal if you want to utilise these). The property has 3 wells (one of which is in the kitchen, all are safe), flint walls, and striking hobbit-like doorways; a real characterful building that will have you not wanting to leave come the time. The property has sealed unit double glazing and central oil-fired heating. To the rear of the property is a large lawned garden with brick paved terracing, and mature trees and shrubs. To the west is a small courtyard garden laid to lawn. The garden is mostly fenced, with some parts hedged, providing a wonderful space for games and events. Guest access The property is approached via a long drive leading to a gravel and brick paved car parking area with space for 4 cars. Adjacent to which is an attached brick and flint period barn with exposed period beams. Please note - the bathroom is located upstairs with bedroom 1. Bedroom 2, 3, 4 and 5 are on the ground floor. The toilet is also on the ground floor.
