The space This treehouse-style retreat has been thoughtfully designed to complement the character and understated luxury of Blackheath. The cool, natural exterior boasts sustainable sophistication, while inside the spotted gum floorboards and Scandinavian-style fireplace exude warmth as you step into the heart of the home. Double-height sloped ceilings and north-east facing windows fill the house with natural light and provide spectacular views of the World Heritage Area. Enjoy the sunrise with a warm cup of coffee on the generous balcony and don’t be surprised if the friendly kookaburras or crimson rosellas come to greet you in the morning! Upstairs you will find a master retreat complete with ensuite and reading nook overlooking the valley below. Meanwhile, the second bedroom occupies its own level and boasts an outlook to the back garden and vegetable patch. A quiet workspace is located downstairs with NBN WiFi for those planning a productive stay. Inclusions - The kitchen is equipped with KitchenAid appliances and stocked with essentials, including coffee pods, tea, oil, salt and pepper. - Games cupboard with a wide selection of puzzles, board and card games. - A 50” smart television connected to the WiFi and Chromecast. - A selection of body wash and haircare products, including hairdryer, are available to suit all of your apothecary needs. - We provide complimentary kindling, firestarters and logs to last you 1-2 nights. Enjoy an evening curled up in front of the fireplace! - Help yourself to any fresh, seasonal produce that is growing in the backyard garden. - A comprehensive and personalised list of nearby eats, drinks, walks and activities are provided on arrival. Guest access Access is via lockbox on the property and the address will be provided closer to your confirmed stay. Other things to note - HEATING: Aside from the fireplace, there is also central ducted heating throughout the home. The house is double glazed and there are additional heaters provided in each bedroom, if required. - AIR CONDITIONING: The living room is fitted with a powerful Mitsubishi air conditioning unit for your comfort. - PHONE RECEPTION: Given the homes proximity to native bushland some providers have unreliable cell reception. We encourage you to embrace switching off, however acknowledge that this can be difficult. With this in mind, complimentary NBN wifi is available to all guests. - PARKING: Off street parking is available on the driveway for two vehicles. - LAUNDRY: Access to washing machine and dryer are available for longer stays on request. - ACCESSIBILITY: Please note our home occupies multiple levels and has internal stairs.
