Since our baby Margherita was born, we have decided to dedicate the most delightful part of our home to all those guests who want a quiet setting, having a base in a beautiful residential neighborhood, outside the nightlife of Florence's historic center, yet reachable in 20 minutes by bus or 25 minutes on foot. (Free parking is available within a 10-minute walk) Our neighborhood, Le Cure, is one of the most coveted neighborhoods by the Florentines and not only, located on the slopes of Fiesole and characterized by the Mugnone stream that hosts a huge variety of birds. The area is quiet and served by public transport and taxis. The equipped kitchen is equipped with two induction plates, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, dishwasher, fridge with freezer and washing machine. The bathroom with window is equipped with a sink, toilet, bidet, heated towel rack and large shower, hairdryer and offers excellent privacy, despite the small spaces of the two-room apartment. You can rest on a large, very cozy loft, overlooking the living area, where you will find a great double bed (new) and a wardrobe. Right below the house, there is a small home-cooking restaurant, run by delightful people, open only in the evening for dinner (closed on Tuesdays). In the immediate vicinity there is a large “Coop” supermarket, various bars and tobacco shops, pharmacy, grocery store, greengrocer, bakery and also: - 800 meters away, in Piazza delle Cure, a large food market and more; - just 100 meters away is a beautiful park called Area Pettini Burresi, lots of green space, wooden picnic tables, shaded benches on which to read a book, ideal for exercise or sports. - 550 meters from the “Firenze - San Marco Vecchio” train station; - 500 meters from the Florentia sports facility, with padel courts, tennis courts, 5-a-side and 7-a-side soccer fields, beach volleyball courts and a refreshment point; WAYS TO REACH US: From the "Firenze Santa Maria Novella" train station you can choose between two options: 1- take the Trenitalia train and get off at the "Firenze San Marco Vecchio" station, walk south on Via Alessandro Levi, turn left onto Via dei Bruni, turn left again onto Via Faentina, after about 500 meters you will find number 162; 2- take the T1.3 tram line at the “Valfonda-Stazione Santa Maria Novella” stop in Piazza della Stazione towards “Careggi-Ospedale” and get off at “Strozzi-Fallaci”. Across the street, in Largo Martiri delle Foibe, take the bus (Autolinee Toscane) line 1 at the “Martiri Foibe T1 Strozzi” stop and get off at “Caracciolo-Rimbotti”. At this point, cross the road and walk along Via della Palancola and finally turn right into Via Faentina. After 50 meters, you will find number 162 on your right. From Peretola Airport take: - the T2 tram line and get off at “Alamanni-Stazione Santa Maria Novella”. On the other side of the Santa Maria Novella station heading east, exactly in Piazza della Stazione, you will have to take the T1.3 tram line at the “Valfonda-Stazione Santa Maria Novella” stop towards “Careggi-Ospedale” and get off at “Strozzi-Fallaci”.
