KLAE Riverhouse - Newly Renovated - Waterfront

KLAE Riverhouse offers guests a peaceful retreat away from the busyness of life. The house is situated along the Casselman River, as well as, within sight of the GAP Bike Trail. Nature fully surrounds this home, and yet, it's only a short 5 minute drive to the town of Confluence to grab coffee, dinner, and groceries. Also, centrally located near local attractions such as, Frank Lloyd Wright homes, Ohiopyle, Seven Springs, Yough Lake, and much more. The space This 3 bedroom/1 bath home offers a full kitchen, dining room, and living room. The washer/dryer are in the main part of the house, we will have detergent on hand for guests. The primary bedroom features a king bed, the secondary bedroom has a queen size bed, and the third bedroom offers two twin size beds. We provide shampoo, conditioner, and body soap for your stay. The garage has plenty of storage for your adventure gear. There is a front deck for enjoying the outdoor space and a firepit in the front lawn. We will supply you with enough firewood for your first fire. The home is filled with original art by the owner and from other area artists. There is ample off street parking, enough for multiple cars, even your boat! Yough Lake is nearby, only 20 min away! The marina offers boat rentals, as well. The walls have been painted light, neutral colors with wood vinyl flooring throughout. The kitchen boasts wood cabinets and new butcher block countertops and is a fully functioning kitchen with all the modern amenities, including a coffee maker, microwave, and dishwasher! This is a dog friendly property. There is an XL size dog crate and bowls for your precious pup available to use. We do require a dog be crated if left unattended. Unfortunately, cats are not permitted as our family has allergies. There are countless area attractions and things to do nearby. This is a fisherman’s dream - the Casselman River is within walking distance (front yard), while Laurel Creek, White’s Creek, Yough River, and McClintock Run are only a short drive. Those fishing spots are considered some of the BEST in the region! Plus, Frank Lloyd Wright Homes, Ohiopyle State Park, Seven Springs, plenty of hiking and beauty are only a short drive, with much more! This secluded, private cabin is your perfect mountain getaway! We do have a security Ring camera at the front door for the safety of our guests and property. Please note, the Laurel Highlands can experience snow during the months of November-March. We will do our best to keep the snow cleared, but we encourage arriving in a vehicle that will do well in these conditions. We look forward to sharing @KLAE_House with you! Guest access Guest will have access to the entire house, as well as, the garage to park their car or gear storage. Other things to note During the months of November-April, the Laurel Highlands can experience snowfall. We are used to snow and the townships do a wonderful job keeping the roads clear. That being said, please be aware of the potential for snow when deciding which car to use for travel during those months. We supply a starter of coffee and shower amenities to begin your stay. If more is needed, the local town of Confluence sells Commonplace Coffee and additional shower supplies. We have a no fireworks policy at our properties.
