Self-contained annex on Cleeve Hill Common.
Description
Cheesecake Well Cottage is a very peaceful and rural location, on the edge of Cleeve Hill Common, a 1,000 acre area of outstanding natural beauty with a café and golf course. Ideal for the Cotswold Way and Cheltenham Spa, 4 minutes by car from the racecourse, and close to a good pub with hourly bus service between Winchcombe and Cheltenham. The annex is self-contained, with a front door and hallway. Dogs £30 supplement. Private parking. Note the lane has a 1 in 4 to 6 gradient and is bumpy. The space Please note the annex is attached to the main house but with a locked fire door in between. Although there are a few kitchen facilities in the corner of the bedroom, there is no oven. It is not a proper kitchen. Please note also that the lane to the house is a bit rough in places, mostly tarmaced or with concrete but bumpy and very steep. Dogs are allowed for a fee of £30 but please do not leave them alone in the annex. Guest access The annex, the patio in front of the annex window and the drive at the front of the house are off Lye Lane. Please park in the spot with the parking sign and do not park at the back as it is only available for local residents, and may incur a fine. Access is via a 5 bar gate to the right of the garage, the door to the annex is at the back of the house on the Common as one of the photos show. Other things to note Whilst we welcome dogs, there is very little room for dog beds so you may wish us to remove the chairs. Please see the photo for chairs. Cleaning supplement for dogs or infants:£30. Breakfast is available from the Rising Sun pub a few minutes walk away from 8am for hotel residents, but they will often allow a couple of people in on the day. Please check with them the evening before. It is also available from Flynn's on the Hill, the golf club café from 9am. This is 15 minutes walk away via a not very steep track on the Common behind the house.
