Must enter correct # of guests for your reservation. Non-smokers only. Exterior cameras on-site. Completely private 1st FL apt with 2 bedrooms, a full bathroom, full kitchen with dishwasher and stocked pantry, living room with recliner sofas, dining table and desk. Centrally-located, walking distance to the Metra train, 8 Corners shopping area, just 1 mile from Brookfield Zoo. There are two exterior cameras that monitor the front and back doors. The space Located in a residential area yet close to everything. Kick back and relax on the comfy reclining sofa and have your pick of a firm or soft mattress. Please note, thermostat is locked, guests may not adjust it. Fans and space heaters are provided and temperature can be adjusted by the host within reason. There is a well-stocked pantry with all the home basics you'll need for a comfortable stay. As a courtesy, we provide as much as we can for guests (e.g., shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash, detergent, sugar, oil, etc.), however, we do not guarantee there will be enough to last your entire stay. There is usually plenty of street parking available on the block and no parking permit is needed. Street cleaning on our side of the street is from April to November on TUESDAYS from 8-4pm. Parked cars will be ticketed by the Village. Off-street uncovered parking space also available, next to garage. This parking space is first come first serve among all guests and tenants, not guaranteed. If you park there, you will need to walk to the property's front door to enter the Airbnb unit. ***Unit is also available for longer term monthly stays at a considerable discount, but different requirements/documentation apply*** Guest access The apartment's main entrance is the home's front door with the keypad. Backdoor leads to shared back porch and basement laundry area. Other things to note There are other guests/tenants on the property in other units are all traveling professionals or students. You may hear them from time to time, smell cooking, etc. No cleaning services are provided during your stay but cleaning supplies are available throughout the unit. Towels and washcloths can be found in the pantry. If you run out of towels or wish to launder the bedding, detergent is provided and coin laundry machines are located in the basement.
