Reconnect with nature at this village farm escape. Nestled in farmland just 10 minutes away from Dehradun's Jolly Grant airport, in the suburb Barowala is The Bouganvillea cottage in Mittal farms. A cozy 2 bedroom cottage with living area, a small garden and terrace from where you can soak in views of the sprawling green fields and rolling Shivalik hills. Enjoy clear starry skies and calm village nights. Take walks in the fields nearby. Rishikesh, Haridwar and Mussoorie are easily accessible. The space How to spend time at the cottage Walk in the surrounding fields and visit the litchi and mango orchards, 3 - 5 mins walk Walk to the water body (used for irrigation), 2 mins walk Play board games, badminton(no net) or simply relax in the outdoor sitting area Soak in the morning sun with a book and cup of coffee on the terrace, overlooking the fields and hills Enjoy a bonfire on a chilly winter evening! (at an extra charge) Pls be conscious this is a property in a village. Pls respect quiet times so as not to disturb neighbours , days start early by 6 - 7 am and its quiet by 7-8 pm. WiFi - password will be provided by host. Food - Zomato and blinkit available! There are several restaurants nearby (5-10 mins drive), offering home delivery or dine in options. Host will share a recommendations list. Guests can also plan a trip to Dehradun,Rishikesh , Haridwar and try various famous restaurants at 30 mins drive. We have a functional kitchen which can be used for cooking, microwave kettle , toaster , utensils provided. Groceries and vegetables can be bought nearby. Tea , sugar and salt are available in the kitchen for guest use. Please note we do not offer home cooked meals. Guest access Guests can use the entire property. Property guard lives next to cottage. Parking for two cars is available at the cottage. Other things to note This is our home. Request guests to treat the property repectfully and make good anything that gets broken. Thank you for being careful while you enjoy the property! Also pls note - there are ACs in both the bedrooms . There is no Ac in the living / dining room as ACs are not required throughout the year.
