Ecological basic cabin Rautu

Rautu is a good result of an ecological choice. The cabin has potable water that can be heated in the cabin's water boiler. There is no private shower or toilet in Rautu (in a nearby building), but the cottage's dry toilet can be reached along a wooden bridge from the porch. Pets are welcome. Lake view from the porch, excellent walking trails. The cottage's equipment includes free access to a rowboat with life jackets. Check out the special offer for weekly bookings! 24/7 security. The space The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen, a cozy living room with an open fireplace. The bedroom has excellent box-spring beds (2) and storage space for clothes. The beds have high-quality bed linen, but the sheets must be brought by yourself or rented from us (bed linen package, includes a bath towel, ironed, €15). Extra beds for two can be found on the sofa in the living room. The cottage has a direct view of the nearby playground and playing field, as well as the area's private beach is close by. Guest access You can stay freely on the nearby beach, there are free water toys for children. Toys, board games, books and videos can be borrowed free of charge from the service building. Park chess can be played free of charge and you can grill freely on the barbecue in the cottage yard or on the lean-to in the nearby forest. All firewood is free. There is a nature trail in the nearby forest with lots of tricky questions for people of all ages to answer. Our forest is also inhabited by our five sheep, who love dry bread, dandelions, milkweed and pats. Other things to note Please note! The price does not include sheets, they can be rented separately 15/person (bath towels 5€/person) On the beach there is a traditional Finnish wooden sauna, which can be rented privately for 30€/1.5h. Kayaks for beginners as well as more experienced can be rented from the beach. (Weekly reservations include two training kayaks.) We will guide you if necessary. There are plenty of beautiful islands nearby, where it is nice to make your own excursions. You can also get on a fishing boat for a paid fishing or sightseeing trip. You can book the final cleaning from us separately (50€).
