Chalet BRUNA is a very comfortable chalet with fantastic view on 3 floors for 6 people. The perfect setting to enjoy your vacation any time of the year. Slopes walking distance (400m). 3 double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one with bathtub, one with shower). Extra toilet with washing machine and dryer. High speed internet, a dedicated working area and a spacious terrace. Fully equipped kitchen and fireplace. No smoking and no animals allowed. Not suitable for people with reduced mobility (stairs). The space CHALET BRUNA LOCATION: Situated in the picturesque village of Grimentz, surrounded by unspoiled nature, we offer you our charming and fully equipped chalet for lovely mountains holidays in Switzerland! Grimentz is an ideal destination all year long. Enjoy outdoor activities in a wonderful setting: in the Winter 220 km of downhill skiing in Grimentz-Zinal, Saint-Luc Chandolin and Vercorin; cross-country skiing in Zinal, snow-shoes trails. In the Summer, 490 kms of walking trails, biking trails, and top golf courses within 45 minutes. Both in Summer and Winter: an indoor swimming-pool (in Zinal), and a SPA (in Grimentz). If you hold a Magic Pass, Grimentz-Zinal and St. Luc-Chandolin are of course part of the destinations covered by the pass. OUR CHALET: Chalet BRUNA was built for us in 2006 and has given us many great memories over the years. We just made some renovations ( living room, parquet floor, tiles) to increase your comfort. OUTDOOR: With old wood walls, the external area includes an outdoor large terrace with stone pavement to let you enjoy your Summer meals & snacks, to relax, to admire the stunning views and starry skies. 2 external private parking spaces are next to the chalet. INDOOR: The indoor area consists of a beautiful living space of about 100 m2, distributed on 3 levels, where everyone will be able to find his/her favourite corner! ENTRANCE HALL / LAUNDRY / STORAGE area: When entering you will be in the very functional hall, with shelves for boots and coats/jackets hanging space. Next to it, a small toilet / laundry room with modern washing machine & dryer. For your convenience you will also find a door facing the open kitchen leading to the storage area for cleaning products, vacuum cleaner etc. LIVING AREA: As you move to the living area, you will immediately notice the volumes, the view and the windows all along three sides. On the right an open, fully equipped, kitchen, facing the garden, to prepare delicious meals. A big kitchen worktop separates the kitchen from the dining area: this is a very popular spot when we have guests! The dining area consists of a wooden table surrounded by big windows. In the centre of the living area there a Swedish fireplace to make evenings very cosy. On the left there is the sitting area, with a large sofa including a chaise longue next to a large window and an armchair. When reading your favourite book while sitting on the chaise longue, raise your eyes and admire the Weisshorn peak! Next to the sitting area there is a dedicated working space, with a glass table, a chair, fast internet connection and a nice view! BEDROOMS The 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom (with bath tube) and 1 shower room are located on 2 different levels to give you more space and more comfort. Downstairs the master bedroom offers great views of the mountains and comes with a large closet and a double bed (160 x 200 cm). The downstairs bathroom includes a bath tube and a bidet besides of course a sink and a WC. Upstairs there are 2 additional bedrooms. The first one comes with 2 bunk beds (90 x 200 cm), a closet and an additional working space (table and chair). The second one has two single beds (90x 200 cm) - that can be put next to each other - and a closet. Both upstairs bedrooms have windows on two sides. The upstairs bathroom comes with a shower (with glass door) and a bidet, besides of course sink and WC. THE RENTAL PRICE INCLUDES: 1) SHEETS and TOWELS - a full set of sheets for each person - towels (small, medium and bigger one for shower) for each person - 2 bath mats (one for upstairs and one for downstairs bathrooms) - 2 kitchen towels 2) BATHROOM PRODUCTS - hand soap, shower-gel & shampoo - toilet paper 3) KITCHEN ITEMS/AMENITIES and CLEANING ITEMS to simplify your life and make your stay more enjoyable a) arrival kit - sponges and kitchen washing brush - Nespresso coffee capsules - 1 X 35l garbage bag (they are special bags for garbage that need to be bought at the Coop or at the Marché Villageois in Grimentz). b) kitchen “basics” at your disposal - tea bags, different flavors - honey - small marmalades - coffee for filter machine - olive oil and vinegar - salt, pepper, spices - baking paper c) cleaning products and detergents at your disposal, no need to buy: dishwashers tablets, rinsing agent, salt, as well as washing machine detergent. 4) FAST WIFI CONNECTION. PLEASE NOTE: - because of stairs (outdoor and indoor) our chalet is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or children below 2 yrs old - to buy food and to access restaurants after shuttle hours (the free shuttle runs during the ski season only, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with the closest stop being at 700m from the chalet) we recommend having a car. Guest access Guests will have full access to the entire chalet on 3 levels (3 bedrooms in total) except 2 additional, private bedrooms, which will be locked. 2 private parkings available outside the chalet.
