Only 45 mins to Geelong, 90 mins to Melb Airport The space The cottage is renovated, yet has still kept its charm from older days. , it’s a dream for a short getaway. The space inside is small and set up with many necessities. A TV with streaming access, free wifi, kitchenette accessories with cutlery and crockery, bar fridge, ice machine, kettle, microwave, toaster, tea & coffee supplies as well. For the first morning breakfast you will find fruit, muesli, gluten free cows milk, yogurt and toast, butter and jam supplies. Air conditioning turns the cabin warm or cool within minutes if needed. Also we spoil our guests with electric blankets through winter, so every nights sleep feels cozy and warm. A timber deck overlooks the Frog and Native Silver Perch filled pond and is the perfect spot to watch the sunset. ——— FARM ———— Together with our farm animals, we would love to welcome you to be our guest and forget about your everyday life for a while. Relax in the garden, dream away in the shade of the trees. Come and meet the animals in the morning or play with our dogs Emy and Bella, who are happy to interact if desired. Peaceful Pines guests are welcome to utilise the unique outdoor Bath and Sauna if you choose to do so. (the open bath is shown in the pictures, it’s NOT located inside the guest accommodation but only a 30 second walk away) Offering a unique bathing experience in the stunning freestanding bath with open wide views into the country, this is a perfect gift for couples, friends or just for yourself. A fire pit is offered, and on request this can be lit for you to kick back and enjoy the stars. It is important that the fire is not lit without permission as local fire restrictions and weather conditions are firstly needed to be considered. Directions / area Our Rural Stay is only 6 minutes away from Brae Restaurant & 7 minutes to Birregurra township (one main street with little specialty shops, a great pub, and a pharmacy) 20 minutes away from Colac and its shopping opportunities and restaurants, botanical gardens, Lakes and Bird Sanctuary. 35 minutes from the famous Great Ocean Road and beautiful Lorne beaches and Waterfalls. 40 minutes to the city of Geelong, 55 minutes Sovereign Hill (Goldmine adventure park) 60 minutes toApollo Bay 70 minutes to Werribee Zoo 1.5 hours to Melbourne (2 hours by train) Guest access Check in is from 2pm, no later than 9pm. Guests are welcome to utilise the Sauna and Bath areas exclusively. Guests will always have complete privacy as there is only ever one booking at one time. The entire area is private and secluded for your own special occasion or just a simple getaway. Other things to note Please be aware that there are natural water ways which are not suitable for access. For safety reasons, there is to be no swimming permitted at all. The water ways are not fenced off as our farm animals need to access them for drinking. It is mandatory that no liquids or rubbish enter the pond areas to keep the water pristine for the aquatic life, wildlife & farm animals. If you are choosing to bring your fur babies along, this must be mentioned in your application to stay. Please be aware that there are farm animals on sight that must be respected and kept safe. Complete control of your pets at all times whilst on your stay is a must. There are further details in the house rules.
