Come enjoy this piece of Big Traverse Bay paradise! The space This is a new construction lake house with an open floor design on the lower level. Large picture windows on the first floor provide a beautiful view of Lake Superior. French doors off of the living room open to a beach-front deck overlooking the lake. The views continue into the kitchen where you'll find appliances and dinnerware to enjoy your meals. One bedroom and a full bathroom are also situated on the first level. The second level is highlighted by a master bedroom with a king size bed and a covered balcony facing the lake. Also on the second level is a second bedroom, laundry room and full bathroom. The outdoor sauna is situated at the edge of the beach just steps away from the cabin. It includes a 9kW electric heater for you to enjoy a hot sauna and refreshing dip in Lake Superior. A public boat launch is only a few miles away, so bring your jet ski or boat and test your luck for Lake Trout and Salmon. Feel free to use the kayaks (one open, two closed) to enjoy a paddle on the lake (we encourage you to bring your own life preservers). Guest access Guests will have access to the lake house and sauna. Other things to note Big Traverse Bay is home to one of the finest white sand beaches in the entire Upper Peninsula. We encourage you to discover all the area has to offer. Houghton, MI (home of Michigan Tech University) is 20 minutes away and offers numerous restaurants and golf. 30 minutes north of the property you'll find Mount Bohemia, home to world-class skiing and snowboarding. A little further north you'll find Copper Harbor and some of the best mountain biking trails in the Midwest.
