I am Aini, the host of Mabul Backpackers. Because I do not speak Chinese and sometimes the signal on the island is not good, I cannot reply and process the order in time. In order to give guests a better experience and be able to reply to messages in time, the Chinese customer service on the platform will handle all matters for me. --Aini Guesthouse Description: It is a backpacker inn and PADI dive shop on Mabul Island that is not in the indigenous area and is located upstream of the sea current. It is close to the excellent beach resort Sipadan Mabul Resort (SMART) on Mabul Island, just 3-5 minutes on foot. Across the beach is the Mabul Water Bungalow, which is in the same waters as the resort, so the coconut trees are shady and the water is clear and the sand is fine. During the day, you can watch the small fish and other marine life under the deck. At noon, the fishermen collect seafood in their hands and process it in the kitchen to enjoy the delicious food. At dusk, you can drink coffee, enjoy the sunset, and watch the tide rise and fall. At night, you can listen to music and taste it on the deck, and quietly wait for the sea turtles to swim from under your feet (this is to spell out the human character). What more could you ask for? Due to the reasonable price and better location of the guest house, it is even more famous in the foreign world, and the guest rooms are often booked (currently the majority of guests in the store are foreigners). Other things to note Guest House Quick Facts: 1. Located on Mabul Island, it is a water house built on the sea. 2. The inn has a beautiful sea view, but the accommodation conditions are quite difficult, so please book with caution if you have high expectations. 3. Room pictures are for reference only. Accommodation price: Prices are per person and will vary for single occupancy. Accommodation includes meals during the stay (not three meals a day) Check-in: You need to arrive at the office in Semporna during office hours (our customer service will guide you on how to get there). Office hours are from around 8:30am to around 5:30pm. The staff arranges for guests to board the boat to enter the island according to the daily schedule of ships entering and leaving the island. Mabul Island Boat Time: Around 09:00am (subject to change) If you need to go to the island in the afternoon, you need to contact customer service, there may not be an afternoon boat to the island Returning from Mabul Island to Semporna Town: Around 16:00pm (subject to change) The schedule may be adjusted, the above time is for reference only. Note: If you arrive at Tawau Airport later than 2:00pm, you will not be able to go to the island on the same day, you can only stay in Semporna town and go to the island the next morning. We do not recommend booking flights on the day of departure, as the boat leaves in the afternoon and you will miss the flight from Tawau. Additional charges: 1: There will be an additional boat fee of 250 MYR per person upon arrival at the office, which includes 2 snorkeling trips to Mabul Island. 2: A total of RM10 per person for the pier fee. Power supply: Resources are scarce on the island, power is generated by diesel engines, and power outages are possible during the day.
