Listing is for 1 bedrooms with a queen bed and a bathroom. (However, I am more than willing to negotiate use of all 3 downstairs bedrooms or whole house… just reach out and let me know!). Woodhaven is situated on a dramatic hillside with tall East Texas trees all around. Its large upper and lower decks have a treehouse feeling, with great views of the sunrise and the pond below. Come sit by the fire, or enjoy the outside fire pit. Or take a nap on a hammock in the trees by the pond! If your soul wants rest and your heart loves beauty, this is the place for you! Guest access This is a shared space (unless other arrangements are made) with the owner, but there’s plenty of room for you to have as much privacy as you desire. You will have sole access to both guest rooms and the guest bathroom. You will have shared access to the living room, kitchen, dining areas (dining room table seats 4 and kitchen island seats 4) and outside decks. As well as the laundry, smoker and grill and .85 acres of property. There’s also an extra full bathroom upstairs you can use as needed. While i don’t have a dedicated office behind a closed door, I DO have MULTIPLE options for work spaces both inside and out, upstairs and down, that are great! You can use whichever suits your needs best. Basically anything can be available if we just discuss what suits your needs best. I enjoy getting to know people and will be delighted to get to know you, and honored to have you as a guest in my home! But I also very much understand wanting a quiet get away and will be respectful of your wish for space. Please feel free to communicate openly with me so I can serve you best in your stay at Woodhaven. Additionally, while the kitchen is open to you for your use, I also love to cook and am more than happy to provide meals as I am able. Otherwise you can reach me best by text. Other things to note It’s a great place to slow down, enjoy nature, and find your soul again. Sit out on the back deck and watch the stars! Or read a book (I have a library full of them - I am happy to share). Choose one of the puzzles to do. Or try some watercolor painting. This house is an artist’s paradise! Don’t just check-out; this is an opportunity to really check-in with yourself and with your Maker. Fitness: I do have a yoga mat, ab roller, stealth core trainer, yoga blocks and resistance bands available. The steep driveway is perfect for uphill and downhill lunges. There is a beautiful 3.8 mile loop of country roads that’s great for walking or biking and has a few big hills to challenge you. But if you want more, you can go for days on these country roads! Shopping - Notable Attractions: First Monday Trade Days in Canton is just 30 minutes away. Miranda lambert’s Pink Pistol is 15 minutes away. Scenic downtown Mineola is 15 minutes away.
