The television in the main lounge room has Foxtel. There is a fourth tv in the gym that has Google Chrome-cast so you can watch Youtube or other apps from your phone on the tv. 6 bedrooms and that can sleep up to 14 people comfortably: 2 x master bedrooms with King size beds 1 room with a Queen bed 1 room with a Double bed + single floor mattress 1 room with three Single sized beds 1 room with a King Single bed + double air mattress Downstairs lounge room can also sleep 5 extra people on air mattresses One of the master bedrooms has an ensuite and a smart television. This room, and the King Single room also have access to the front verandah that overlooks a park and faces the sunset each evening. Three bathrooms, two with dual showers, and one with a claw foot bathtub. All bathrooms have hair dryers, shampoo and conditioner and body wash. All towels for bathing and swimming in the pool are provided. Two lounge/family rooms so everyone can spread out. There are an abundance of board games, Lego sets, and PS4 and Wii games, including a PS4 steering wheel and foot pedals on a stand. The back veranda overlooks the fully fenced backyard and pool and has an outdoor lounge area and a dining table that seats 12 comfortably for al fresco dining. There is also a barbecue on the deck, and two downstairs (one is a smoker for smoking fish or roast meat and the other is a kettle for roasting large cuts of meat). The indoor dining table also seats 12-14 comfortably. The large outdoor dining table seats 10 and the smaller dining table seats 6. The kitchen includes a wide variety of pots and pans and appliances for cooking and baking. There are three fridges for all your groceries and drinks. The oven has 6 burners and two ovens for baking for large groups. There is also an air fryer. If you love music, the piano is in tune and there are a number of Sonos sound systems throughout the house so you can connect your own music to the streaming devices. There’s a home gym with weights, running machine and a Pilates machine. There is a dedicated workspace with an external monitor. We are very close to Nundah Village which holds a fresh food market each Sunday morning, Christmas Carols and events during December, loads of restaurants, coffee shops and bars. There are also two craft beer breweries walking distance away. Hamilton Wharf and Portside are 10min away where you’ll find the Eat Street Markets, Dendy Cinema, fine dining restaurants, and the City Cat Ferry that will take you straight into Howard’s Smith Wharves or the City in under 30 mins. The city is a 20 min drive into town, depending on traffic, or a 17min trip to the City centre by train, which is a lovely short walk away, but not close enough that the noise from the trains can be heard from the home. Tamborine Mountain is an hour away and boasts some beautiful wineries - we highly recommend Witches Falls. SeaWorld, Dreamworld and Movieworld are about 45-60 mins drive away. Chermside Shopping Centre is the largest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere and is a 10min drive or short bus trip away. Guest access You have full use of the two storey home, except the small art studio that is screened off. We store our personal belongings in locked cupboards so you are welcome to use the contents of any cupboard that is not locked. You will find lots of games to keep every one of all ages entertained. We have a boat, trailer and car in the driveway which aren’t for guest use, but you are welcome to use the driveway carport to park your car behind ours of course. The two small sheds are padlocked and not for guest use. You are welcome to use the 4 bikes and helmets outside the laundry but they may not be in working order as we rarely use or upkeep them. Other things to note This is our home, and we hope everything will be perfect for you. We open our home up when we travel so that other travellers can use our place and we know it will be safe while we’re away.
