Enjoy a relaxing break at this luxurious barn in the Chilterns. It is located in an idyllic, peaceful setting only 30 minutes from central London. Surrounded by unspoilt rolling English countryside and ideal for walking and cycling. The barn has a beautifully designed interior and the spacious open plan living area offers a cinema screen, log burner and a luxurious reclining sofa….wonderful for watching films and sport. The space The barn offers spacious living and features all you need for a comfortable stay. - lovely living area with a film theme, cinema screen/projector, log burner, large reclining sofa/sofa bed and antique work bench. -separate well equipped kitchen with antique French dresser and dining table, induction hob, convection microwave and lovely views of the field with our 2 pet sheep, 3 chickens and 2 ducks! -bedroom with a beautiful antique cast iron double bed and a linen press with lots of drawer and hanging space. -bathroom with shower, heated towel rail, luxury towels and bathrobes. -outside, the barn has access to our orchard and has a private seating/dining area. -the barn is next to a postcard pretty cottage with wisteria framed doorways, rambling roses and a country garden. The surrounding fields and small stable yard are occupied by our lovely home bred horses. -other features of the barn. It is accessed down a well lit path with a handrail. There is a hedge between the cottage and the barn and a gate separating it from the stables. Guests have access to the orchard/garden to the front of the barn. Other things to note The property has a strict no smoking policy. Stable End Retreat is located on a 20 acre smallholding and there will be horses in some of the stables nearby.
