Ivy Cottage in North Yorkshire Moors

Newly renovated cozy stone cottage with fabulous views in Egton village on the edge of the North Yorkshire Moors. Two local pubs. Great for walkers, with the coast to coast trail at Egton Bridge, and numerous moor walks nearby. A 10 minute drive to the coastal town of Whitby. A 15 minute drive from a number of beautiful beaches and cliff walks. Well behaved dogs (and owners) welcome Wi-Fi provided. Open staircase and internal steps. No under 16s. Friday is our cleaning and changeover day. The space Open plan downstairs with a good-sized conservatory and a large kitchen TV area with seating for 4 and a log-fire (not in summer months) Dining area with seating for 6 Good sized patio with external dining chairs and table for 4 Open staircase to 2 double bedrooms with king sized beds, and one good-sized bathroom with walk-in shower. Cottage feel upstairs with sloping ceilings. Outside, the cottage has a shared gateway with private parking for 2 vehicles. At the front of the house there is a cottage garden with a small grass area and a stone footpath leading to the road. To the rear of the property there is a gated private back garden. The garden is surrounded by a low stone wall. There is a grass area, a large patio, and a hidden seated area. The rear garden boasts stunning views of the Yorkshire moors. Although the garden is enclosed the stone wall is not high and it is therefore not secure to the more adventurous dog. Please note that the building to the right of the photographs (with the matching conservatory) is an owners room and not a separate dwelling. Guest access All of the house available.
