The Sea Shanty - Cozy, Fun, Walk to the Beach

Welcome to the Sea Shanty, the cozy beach cottage that you didn’t know you needed to stay at but you did. It magically brings you just what you wanted. Family beach getaway? Check. Personal space to read, write, and escape? Check. Fish, surf, beach comb? You got it. This little house will be your home base for your vacation. With two bedrooms, one bath, fully stocked kitchen and an open living room space… it’s got you taken care of. Settle in and get ready to enjoy the beach! The space This is a 1960’s beach cottage! Updated with a few modern amenities but for the most part you will feel like you are having an authentic fishing/surfing/beach combing/ family vacation as this house was intended for. The kitchen is equipped with all of the things you might need to make delicious meals as well as brew up a cup of coffee to sit and enjoy the morning. The bathroom is small but mighty. Take a shower or a bath and there are towels and some toiletries provided. If you need entertainment there is WIFi and the tv is connected to it. If you’re feeling like not being connected there are boardgames, books and art activities. The beach is a quick 2 minute drive away or stretch your legs and get there in 10 min. It’s easy to spend the whole day there, so feel free to grab a beach towel and a kite. Or take a 10 minute drive into Westport for lunch and ice cream. After playing at the beach, use the washer and dryer. Just make sure the sand gets shaken off before making it into the machines. We love our dogs! Im sure we would love yours too, but please make sure to look after them and take them on your adventures. They dont want to be left behind. There is a small shed out back that we keep either our personal beach gear in or we just stuff random things that we dont want other people to have to deal with.
