The space When booking Oak Shade Meadow through Air B&B, you are booking the site as a private campsite for up to 30 guests, and 10 tents. The site is completely off-grid. What does this mean? You have the privilege of being able to leave yourself completely cut off from the outside world for the duration of the stay. If you are interested in using the meadow for a wedding or event, please contact us as the pricing will change. We have no electricity on the site, and no drinking water. We provide a large water drum with water that is suitable for washing and washing-up. We have loads of space to run around and distance yourself from others in your booking. Our toilet facility is a composting toilet unit made from recycled wood, and all waste is appropriately composted for reintegration into nature after a year of decomposition. Don't worry- it works like a normal toilet, you just use sawdust instead of flushing! You are welcome to use our firepit but we will provide firewood and it is against site rules to cut from the fallen wood or trees in the meadow. The rest of the land around the meadow is used by a variety of people, but no one will be coming into the meadow and apart from the odd sound of a passing vehicle you will be left with the utmost privacy.
